Set Up An NFC Chip
- Use any standard NFC sticker or tag that your iPhone can scan.
- Pair the chip inside the alarm or Focus Time setup screen.
- Place the chip somewhere you physically need to reach, like across the room.
- When the alarm or Focus Time needs a check-in, scan the same chip you paired.

Focus Times And App Blocking
CG1 uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to shield apps during Focus Times. You choose which apps stay available. Emergency unlocks are there for real situations, but the goal is to make distractions harder to reach.
Alarm Notes
CG1 is designed to make your wake-up flow require a physical NFC check-in. iOS still controls device volume, hardware buttons, lock state, notification behavior, and system alarm behavior. For the strongest setup, keep your phone charged, leave notifications enabled, and test a new alarm before relying on it overnight.
Premium And Billing
CG1 Premium is managed by Apple In-App Purchase. To cancel, change, or restore a subscription, use your Apple Account subscription settings or the restore option inside CG1.
Before App Review Or TestFlight
If you are testing CG1 and app shielding does not activate, make sure Screen Time permission is approved and that the build has the required Family Controls entitlement.
